Crawley striker Guy Madjo is hoping to play his way into Cameroon’s squad for the African Cup of Nations in January.
Madjo, 23, has been invited to a five-day training camp with Cameroon after scoring 10 goals this season.
He told the Brighton Argus: « I am very excited about it. Every player wants to be called up for his national team so this is a great honour for me.
« This is the last camp before they pick the squad so it’s very important – it would be amazing to be part of it. »
The call-up for Madjo, who joined Crawley from Blue Square Premier rivals Stafford Rangers in June, means he will miss Crawley’s game against Torquay on Saturday.
