Fulham assistant manager Christian Damiano fears the club could lose its three loan signings unless Jean Tigana comes clean on his future. Martin Djetou (Parma), Junichi Inamoto (Gamba Osaka) and Pierre Wome (Bologna) are all due to return to their clubs at the end of the season unless Fulham decide to take up the option of signing them outright.
However, that decision rests with the manager and Tigana has so far shown little interest in continuing at the club beyond May.
Damiano said: « It’s impossible to explain about the future of the loan players because we don’t know about our own future. So it’s difficult to say if we will keep them or not. I don’t know.
« What is the position with the manager for the future? Does Jean want to stay and keep these players? Now we need a decision from Jean quickly. I think we need to know the exact future in March.
« I say that because we’ve had February and now we’re in March. I don’t know what will happen. I’m linked with the manager so I’m waiting for his decision. »
