Holding midfielder Eyong Enoh returns to the Ajax squad for the UEFA Cup match against Olympique Marseille…
Eredivisie giants Ajax have received some promising news from the treatment table in the buildup towards the UEFA Cup clash against French side Olympique Marseille this Thursday.
Powerful holding midfielder Eyong Enoh – who missed Ajax’s league match against ADO Den Haag due to a groin injury – has returned to full match fitness and will travel to France with the rest of the Ajax squad.
Additionally, pint-sized midfielder Vurnon Anita is available again after a short spell on the sidelines. The talented youngster was being plagued by a hip injury in the past couple of days.
Former Celtic midfielder Evander Sno has lost his spot in the match squad due to the return of Enoh and Anita.
Sno was part of the starting XI in Ajax’s 1-1 league draw against ADO Den Haag last Sunday, but was largely disappointing.
