African Champions League champions Al Ahly are set to swoop for Cotonsport duo Daouda Kamilou and Kingue Mpondo.
According to media reports striker Kamilou and winger Mpondo have been linked with a move to Africa’s most successful club side.
It is believed that around 500,000 US dollars would be paid per player after they both impressed the Egyptian giants while losing to them in the Champions League final with club side Cotonsport.
The 21-year-old Kamilou has been with the Garoua-based club since joining them as a 18-year-old in 2005 and has also been a regular in the Niger national side after making his debut in 2006.
Ahly also rate highly the ability of the 23-year-old Mpondo, who is a Cameroon international.
The Red Devils are also said to currently be in negotiations for Kameni Mathurin, who emerged as Egypt’s best goalkeeper in 2008, from Egyptian first division team Araas Al Hodood.
