For the first time in Cameroon football history, two teams from the Anglophone part of the country are staying on top of the national football championship, after three days of play. New comers PWD Bamenda are indeed having their best time in the season. Like Mount Cameroon Buea, PWD Bamenda have 9 points from three wins. But keep a better attack over Mount Cameroon.

On Sunday PWD edged visiting Stade Bandjoun 2-1, while Mount Cameroon maintained a strange tradition of winning by the narrow 1-0 margin over Racing in Buea.
Their performance is glaringly greater than that of defending champions Canon Yaounde who have lost all three games this season and are trailing the league.
Canon were down one nil, this time against Fovu Baham. That win put Fovu on third position, 2 points adrift the leaders. Like Fovu, Coton Sport Garoua have 7 points thanks to a second win.
Playing at home, Coton Sport had a field day, pounding Victoria United 4-1. It was the heaviest defeat of the day as the vice champions post their intention of doing better than last season.
Another striking aspects of day three actions was that new comers Caiman and Renaissance recorded their first victories. Caiman defeated Cintra 2-1 in Yaounde, while Renaissance had a 3-1 away win over Sable.
The win leaves Renaissance on sixth position with 4 points as Cintra, Unisport who drew two all with Union Douala and Bamboutos who beat Tonnerre Yaounde 1-0.
Tonnerre and Stade have a point each and are neighbours to Canon at the bottom of the table.
