His fighting spirit makes him a veritable playmaker. Twenty-two-year-old Abada Narcisse Fish is a rare mid field whose fighting spirit makes him the dynamo of the reawakening Tonnerre Kalara Club of Yaounde. The nimble-footed hitman is an all-round playmaker saving lethal moves within Tonnerre’s vital zone with some sporadic counter-attacks that often set the adversaries on the defensive.
Against Canon on the eight playing day, Abada Narcisse’s daring move paid off when he headed the ball that found his mate, Binya in the 33rd minute for Binya to nail Canon with the curtain raiser. Abada began his football career five years ago in Foudre of Akonolinga in the Centre Province. From this division two club, he moved to another division two side, Fernabache where he played for two seasons. His witty play style soon caught the attention of the management of Etoile of Essazok. He gave in a year in this second division club before settling this last year in Tonnerre. The mid fielder has a height of 1.78m and this gives him much technical advantage especially in air-borne duels. His ability to jump some two metres above sea level is an edge over many opponents.
Abada Narcisse’s « rasta » hair style gives him a flamboyant look. At the start of this season, he was selected to defend the national colours in the Under 23 Squad. The trio comprising Ze Francis and Bengondo in the attack of the U-23 Lions constitutes a threat to adversaries. Their cohesive play style gains much admiration and it is obvious that Abada Narcisse will soon go the professional like Ze Francis who plays for Sampdoria in Italy as well as Bengondo who plays for AB Ellizona in Switzerland. His ambition, to quote him, « … is to go professional. » Abada Narcisse fish remains one of the players of Tonnerre who impresses the home crowd and fans alike.
