Wolves boss Dave Jones is hopeful Cameroon goalkeeper Carlos Kameni will earn his work permit on appeal. Jones said: « Carlos has been very impressive on the training ground – he’s done very well which is why we are going to the appeal panel. » Le Havre goalkeeper Kameni has agreed terms to play on-loan this season at Wolves.
Wolves club secretary, Richard Skirrow, also said: « The work permit was originally turned down because of Carlos’ age and because he hasn’t made enough international appearances as yet.
« We are appealing on the grounds that he is an exceptional young talent. »
