Following the defeat of Cameroon in a four-nation tournament in Tunis at the weekend, questions are being raised about the future of coach Winfried Schafer.
The 1-0 loss comes on the back of a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Ivory Coast in a friendly game in February.
Many fans think it is time that the German quit the team, while others are willing to give him one last chance at the Confederations Cup in France later this year.
Schaefer and the ageing Lions team is a topic dominating talk in bars, taxis and offices.
« If Cote d’Ivoire beat Cameroon, that’s one thing. But Tunisia beating us! »

« I think that Schafer has never been a good coach for the Cameroon national team, » said one fan, Tchapi Guy Balin.
And Amougou Isidore Christian thinks Schaefer still doesn’t know what Cameroonians expect from a foreign coach.
« If Cote d’Ivoire beat Cameroon, that’s one thing. They have done it in the past. But Tunisia beating us! There is something wrong somewhere, » he said.
Other football lovers believe Schaefer is not the problem but the administration around him.
« The team’s problem lies in the hands of the Sports Minister, Bidoung Mkpatt. Schaefer is under pressure and can¿t work freely, » Kah Dickson suggested.
Tiwa Guy thought that Schaefer was still forming his team and needed more time to adjust.
« Lets give him time to nurture new players, » Tiwa cautioned.
The African Champions are unlikely to allow another defeat to go by without serious questions being asked about Schafer’s ability.
