Cameroon’s football legend, Roger Albert Milla is confident his country’s under-23 team will triumph over Nigeria when the two teams clash in the final of the 8th All Africa Games going on in Abuja.
Milla told www.kickoffnigeria.com in Abuja at the final of the women’s handball final on Monday night at the new Abuja Stadium Velodrome that he was expecting « a very tough final game between Nigeria and Cameroon who for many years have been rivals in this game. »
Milla added that he, like any other Cameroonian always looks forward to games between the two countries with excitement and this Games final will not be an exception.
The Cameroonian girls defeated their Nigerian counterparts in the final 33-26 points to win the country’s first gold medal in the Games and Milla is hopeful that the female team’s success will propel the boys to overcome Nigeria in the soccer final.
