TOKYO (AP) — Japan will take on Senegal and Cameroon in home friendlies this fall, the Japan Football Association announced Sunday. Japan will face World Cup quarterfinalists Senegal on Sept. 20 and then play African Nations Cup winners Cameroon on Nov. 19, it said. Venues for the two matches have yet to be decided.
Japan was forced to cancel two friendlies in the United States in March because of concerns over a possible U.S.-led attack on Iraq.
