Away leg matches end today. Delayed matches counting for the last playing day of the first phase of the Centre Provincial Division II Championship have been programmed today in Yaounde. Originally scheduled to end last weekend, the away leg matches were moved forward following heavy rains in the capital city that interrupted some of the encounters. In spite of the bad weather, some matches were however played the poor state of the pitches not withstanding .
In Yaounde, in sub pool A, Olympic played a 0-0 tie with Ouragan and Juenese Stars recorded a similar score against Kabat. In pool A in Otele, Otele FC played a 1-1 tie with Vogt Atheletic. In sub pool B, AS CEPER lost to Hirondelle 0-2. The match between Impots and Inter Stars was interrupted by the rains. In Ngoumou, Renaissance beat Pyramide 2-0 in another pool B match. In sub pool C, Fenerbache played a 2-2 draw with Tarzan while the match between AS Afamba and Dragon was also interrupted by the rains. In pool D, Pandores gave Esperance a 6-0 spanking while the match between Achille and Guinekoue was not played due to poor weather. Still in pool D, Univers played a virgin draw with Espoir in Obala, and Tempete played a 1-1 tie with SOSUCAM in Bandjock. Everything being equal, all the matches will be played today. The team are expected to go on a ten-day recess before beginning the second phase of the championship latter this season.
