RIYADH, Saudi Arabia —Achille Emana of Cameroon is moving from Spanish side Real Betis to the Saudi club Al Hilal after signing a four-year deal with the six-time Asian champions.
The club’s president Prince Abdel-Rahman bin Musaad said on the club’s website Thursday that he signed the contract with Emana in Paris late Wednesday.
The club did not disclose the value of the contract. Emana is expected to arrive in Riyadh on Sunday, the club said.
Emana, who joined Real Betis in 2008 from Toulouse, has represented his country’s national side in the 2010 World Cup, the 2006 and 2008 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup.
