Before leaving Yaounde, Tuesday morning for Portugal where the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon face the Angolan national team in a friendly tomorrow, head coach, Paul Le Guen had some words for the few journalists who trailed him at the Nsimalen International Airport. He made it clear that he would be proceeding in a complete shake up of his squad for Wednesday’s game in his starting eleven.
Unless last minute changes as claimed by the head coach, the squad he revealed to the journalists would be starting the encounter amongst whom are players like Souleymanou, Bassong, Mandjeck Georges…etc.
To him, rotating the squad completely is to enable him find possible solutions in future encounters where and when need arises. Paul Le Guen equally said he wants the other players to rest and keep them physical state at 100 percent for the future. Asked whether, he already has a squad in mind that would face the Atlas Lions of Morocco next month in the decisive world cup qualifier, the technician declared that nobody is sure of a place in the squad and after Wednesday’s encounter, he would proceed to watch other Cameroonians in the Diaspora. There he thinks he would detect other new talents as he discovered Henri Bedimo, claimed the Frenchman.
