The second friendly game between Cameroon and Mali as part of preps for the Women African Cup of Nations played at the Mamadou Konate Stadium ended in a virgin tie, 0-0. Both sides missed scoring chances and the coaches say they have learnt a lot from the two games to ameliorate their teams ahead of the continental jamboree.
The team returns home tomorrow to prepare for the next friendly against Kenya on October 22. At the end of two friendlies, the President of the Malian Women Football Commission, Fatou Camara came to bid team Cameroon farewell and expressed the need for more friendlies in future. Mme Eleonor Nke, representative of the Minister of Sports and Physical Education thanked the Malian Federation for accepting to host the games and wished the two teams the best during the up coming competition.
