Middlesbrough stars Geremi and Joseph Job have both been included in the Cameroon squad for the Confederations Cup next month.
The pair will travel to France with their team-mates, where they face a tough test to make it through to the latter stages of the competition after being drawn in a group with World champions Brazil, Turkey, who finished third at the World Cup finals and the United States, who defeated a weakened Wales side 2-0 in midweek.
Cameroon open their campaign in the hardest possible way against the Brazilians in Paris on June 19 with only the top two in each group – Colombia, France, Japan and New Zealand are the other competing nations – making it through to the knock-out stages.
Geremi is currently awaiting news on his future in England with Boro refusing to meet Real Madrid’s £9.6million valuation of a player who spent last season on loan at the Riverside Stadium amid speculation that Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are ready to make their own bid.
