The Amsterdam outfit are on the verge of renewing the midfielder’s current contract…
According to Sportweek, Amsterdam giants Ajax are about to renew the contract of Cameroonian youngster Eyong Enoh. His current Ajax contract expires in 2010, but his new deal will run until 2012.
« Enoh is an important first team player for us and we’re extremely happy to hold on to him, » said technical director Danny Blind about the holding midfielder.
The 23-year-old joined Ajax from satellite club Ajax Cape Town last summer and has quickly developed into an important first team player. He made only 13 league appearances so far though due to a string of injuries.
