Carlos Kameni’s agent has confirmed that a number of English clubs have expressed an interested in signing the Cameroon international. The 19-year-old is keen to move to England from Le Havre and several clubs are monitoring his situation. Kameni was close to a move to Wolves last summer, but the deal fell through after the African ace was refused a work permit.
The player’s representative Frank Trimboli of Base Soccer revealed that a work permit was no longer an issue as the player had obtained a French passport and that he was attracting interest from some English clubs.
« We don’t know anything from Fulham, but there is some interest in Carlos although nothing is concrete, » Trimboli told skysports.com
« Obtaining a work permit is no longer a problem as he now has a work permit and he is keen to come to England.
« Carlos is under contract with Le Havre and we will have to wait and see what happens. »
