MARTIN Jol says Eyong Enoh is almost ready for Fulham’s first team as he closes in on full fitness.
The January arrival from Ajax has only played seven times this season and is still waiting to make his debut following his loan switch to Craven Cottage.
However, the Cameroon midfielder came through 90 minutes in Friday night’s reserve game with Chelsea, and could be in contention for Fulham’s next first-team game against Spurs in a fortnight’s time.
“Enoh hasn’t featured for the last three or four months – not for Ajax or us,” said boss Jol.
“It’s good to have him around because he’s a very good player.
“If [Mahamadou] Diarra is not fit I ended up with a problem. I’m quite happy that [Emmanuel] Frimpong is here too.”
