Samuel Eto’o played his first game after the nightmare in Yaounde against Egypt, and was the best player in the visit of Barcelona in La Coruña in front of Deportivo (3-3). The international forward scored the first goal of the catalan team, goal that allowed the team of Frank Rijkaard to tie a game that stared with a goal of Valeron for the local side.
Eto’o played near Ronaldinho and the french Giuly trying to break the local defense, and became a nightmare for the defenders of Deportivo, specially Coloccini, the internatinal argenitian player. After the first half (1-1), Eto’o, with a lot of spaces, created the second goal in the second half, goal scored by Ronaldinho in a fine definition in front of the goalkepper Molina. The brazilian star also made the third from the penalty spot. Munitis scored for the local side in the 71th minut, and Ruben made the 3-3 in the last minutes.
For the cameroonian striker, this is the 7th goal in 7 games in the spanish league, numbers that allow Eto’o to be at top of the goalscoring table, with Ronaldo of Real Madrid who scores twice today against Atlético. David Villa, of Valencia, who plays today, has scored 6 goals.
