African champions Cameroon have been handed a tough debut after Wednesday’s Under-17 World Cup finals in Finland. They will play the South American runner-up Brazil, European champions Portugal and Asian debutants Yemen.
On 8 June Cameroon were crowned Under-17 African champions after beating Sierra Leone 1-0 in Swaziland.
The Sierra Leoneans play Spain, the United States and South Korea.
Former world champions Nigeria, who won bronze in Swaziland, are in the same group with Argentina, Costa Rica and Australia.
The other group pits the host nation Finland against China, Mexico and Colombia.
On 13 August Finland will play China in the opening match.
The final will take place on 30 August in Helsinki.
